HFP Acoustical
Consultants has provided its services to many of the major gas
processing and oil refining facilities in North America. HFP
expertise has been used to solve noise problems related to on-site
occupational noise issues, off-site environmental noise problems,
and emergency alarm designs.
HFP has extensive
expertise tackling the control of noise in ethane and liquids
extraction (deep cut), sour, and injection gas plants. The noise
problems are usually associated with gas turbine driven or
electrically driven compressors, fin-fan coolers, and pipe work
from the compressor discharge and recycle.
HFP’s expertise has
been used at many refineries to address noise emissions from
cooler fans, furnaces, and pumps.
