Independent laboratory certification and calibration is maintained for all
HFP equipment, which includes the following:
Sound level meters
and laboratory grade real-time analyzers
Sound intensity analyzers
for source isolation and sound power level certification
High-temperature microphones
for exhaust and in-duct noise measurements
Vibration transducers
for vibration analysis and transmission path diagnostics
Microphone couplers
for noise source identification and order-ranking
Environmental monitors
for long or short-term noise surveys
Noise dosimeters
for employee noise exposure testing

Specialized Measurement Equipment
HFP has also developed proprietary noise measurement
equipment and methods that allow our engineers to isolate
and quantify noise contributions from specific noise
sources. This allows us to prioritize the noise control
treatments, so that we can develop noise control treatments that
address and correct the actual noise problems in the
most economical and effective manner.
