Sonograms   HFP Acoustical Consultants has the tools to analyze complex time histories from extended monitoring programs. The adjacent image presents a time history recorded at a residence adjacent to an operating industrial facility.  The orange line represents the average 1 min equivalent sound pressure level or Leq.  We can see that between 1:00 and 7:00 that the measured noise level was between 45 and 50 dBA.  Concurrent to the overall sound level 1/3 octave band data was also collected, we can view this data as a sonogram.     Next >>
